End House is a traditional fisherman’s cottage in Downalong St Ives, refurbished in a contemporary style whilst retaining charm and character. Situated in a superb position, just one road back from the harbour and within walking distance of all the golden sandy beaches, restaurants, boutique shops and galleries found in this beautiful seaside town.
The accommodation encompasses four floors and is extremely spacious for four guests having three good size bedrooms. The views from the top floor bedroom/sitting area are splendid, looking across the harbour or to the Island Chapel and the unique location offers privacy and is perfect spot to relax and recharge in Cornwall at any time of year.
The open plan kitchen/sitting/dining area is on the ground floor, the sitting area having a large welcoming sofa, TV, slate floors and wood burning stove, which along with the under-floor heating ensures a cosy Cornish break during the cooler months.
The dining table is situated between the kitchen and sitting area and comfortably seats up to four guests.
The kitchen is fitted with sleek white units and includes an induction hob and electric oven, dishwasher and larder fridge. A freezer and washer/dryer can be found in the utility area on the lower ground floor.
The master bedroom is on the first floor with a king size bed and dual aspect windows.
Loose yourself in the wonderful views from the second-floor bedroom across the harbour and beach. The bed is a double and there is also a television, table and chairs placed to take advantage of the views above the rooftops to the ever-changing scene in the harbour.
The third bed is a small double on the lower ground floor, there is also a lobby leading from the bedroom area with a door out to a rear courtyard.
